This week the theme is all about Efficiency and Teamwork:

Welcome to the first edition of this newsletter.

As promised, every Wednesday you will receive:

  1. Something to Ponder
  2. Something to Act on
  3. And something to Share

Each newsletter will be succinct, strategic and tactical. Helping you to be strategic towards your destination. Tactical in your journey towards it. And helping you build the mindset to survive both.

So let's jump in!

Something to Ponder 🤯:

"Are you working in your business or on your business?"

In the back of your mind over the next few days... Consider in everything you do: day to day, call to call, email to email...

"Is this activity something I really need to be doing? Or can it be done more effectively, efficiently, or does it need to be done at all?!"

Ponder-away! 🤔

Something to Act on 🔥:

You've probably heard of SMART objectives (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant & Time-bound).

While I'm not always a massive fan of this approach... It has it's place, of course, but not always.

Here, it's particularly helpful!

With some of the pondering underway in your mind. I want you to change ONE thing.

That thing needs to improve efficiency or effectiveness. And think through the SMART framework as you do it.

Is this change Specific? Is it Measurable? Is it Achievable?

You can guess the rest 😉

Change just ONE THING. And see how that feels.

And something to Share 🤝:

This week I want you to share something with three people you are connected to.

They could be work colleagues.

They could be connections on LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter etc.

Think about how you can help them. A piece of advice. Some feedback. A tool you've heard of... Something they would benefit from.

And share it with them.

Teamwork makes the dream work 🚀

See you next week...!

Dan

P.S. This week's Dad Joke is a classic! 🤣

Sylvester Stallone, Jean Claude Van Damme and Arnold Schwarzenegger are making a movie about classical music.

Sylvester Stallone says, "I'll be Mozart."

Jean Claude Van Damme says, "I'll be Beethoven."

Arnold Schwarzenegger says, "Screw you two! I'll be Bach!"
